Terms of Service

Welcome to LooksMatch. By using our mobile application ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use LooksMatch. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You may not create multiple accounts or use another person's account.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of the photos and content you upload ("User Content"). By uploading content, you grant LooksMatch a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your User Content within the App for the purpose of providing our services.

You agree that your User Content:

Is of yourself (no impersonation or catfishing)
Does not contain nudity, sexually explicit material, or violent content
Does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights
Does not contain illegal content or promote illegal activities
Does not harass, bully, or threaten other users

4. AI Scoring & Leaderboard

LooksMatch uses AI models to generate attractiveness scores. These scores are algorithmically generated and are intended as entertainment features. Scores do not represent objective assessments of attractiveness or personal worth. We are not responsible for emotional distress caused by scores, rankings, or ratings from other users.

5. Community Ratings

Other users may rate your photos. By using the App, you consent to receiving community ratings. Ratings are anonymous — you will not see who rated you or what score they gave.

6. Matching & Messaging

LooksMatch facilitates connections between users. We do not guarantee matches or successful relationships. You agree to:

Treat other users with respect
Not send harassing, threatening, or sexually explicit messages
Not use the messaging feature for spam or commercial solicitation

7. Tier System & Purchases

LooksMatch may offer tier boosts or premium features for purchase. All purchases are final unless otherwise required by applicable law. Features and pricing are subject to change.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Manipulate scores or rankings through bots, fake accounts, or coordinated behavior
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
Circumvent rate limits, security measures, or access controls
Scrape user data or content from the App
Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code

9. Blocking & Reporting

You may block or report users who violate these Terms. We review reports and may take action including warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent account termination at our sole discretion.

10. Account Termination

You may deactivate or permanently delete your account at any time through the App's Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LooksMatch and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to emotional distress from scores or interactions with other users.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which LooksMatch operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
